Finding Fun and Community at Zeb’s
Cameron Hartford joined Zeb’s Coffeehouse in February 2024, bringing his signature upbeat energy to every shift. Outside of Zeb’s, he volunteers with the youth & the worship team at Velocity Church in Lawrence, but he was looking for a fun job where he could meet and connect with even more people. Since then, he’s become a familiar and friendly face behind the counter, making every visit to Zeb’s feel like home.
The People Make the Job
You’ll usually find Cameron at the register, where he has a natural way of chatting with customers, remembering names, and sharing stories. His favorite part of the job? The people! The connections he’s built with customers keep him excited for every shift. And if you’ve ever heard a teammate singing a song for every situation, that’s Cameron—bringing joy and fun behind the scenes.
His Go-To Pick-Me-Up
Cameron’s drink of choice is a Cookies and Cream Frappe with a double shot. As he puts it, “It satisfies my need for coffee and my inner child with the cookies and cream.” A drink that’s both energizing and nostalgic? Sounds like the perfect combo!
Life Beyond Zeb’s
When he’s not at the coffeehouse, Cameron loves spending time with his wife of 11 years and their almost 4-year-old son. Their favorite traditions include pizza-and-movie Fridays and playing just about every sport imaginable. For their family, time together is everything—including serving as a team at their church.
Spreading Positivity, One Cup at a Time
Cameron’s goal at Zeb’s is simple: to put a smile on as many faces as possible. His positive outlook and servant’s heart make him an invaluable part of the team. We’re lucky to have his warmth, enthusiasm, and endless playlist of songs.
